Welcome to

Welcome to the Happy Club! We are on a journey to make the world a more loving place, and The Happy Club is the result of this vision.

So much of our attention in this world is unconsciously placed on negativity, fear, and hate – it’s everywhere; in the media, the news, the office, and social media – and it’s taking its toll – the damaging effects this is having on us and everyone around us.

Our aim is simple – let’s make love go viral. Instead of feeding the fear, The Happy Club is YOUR space to share, enjoy, and spread positive stories, inspiration, and examples of love, kindness, and positivity in the world. It is a place where we can support and love each other, because the more love we give into the world, the more love we will receive. The Happy Club is also your place to get access to a wide range of mind and body development tools and courses that will further enable your journey to self love and, in the process, make the world a more loving place to be…

So, what is it, and how do I join?

The Happy Club is manifesting in various ways and on different platforms, and while we have a lot of exciting developments to share with you as soon as we can, you can now join our journey by subscribing to The Happy Club Podcast, following Kash Desai on social media, and joining our interactive Happy Club Facebook Group! Meet The Team

Kash Desai

As an inquisitive little boy growing up in India, I used to wonder why things were the way they were. I spent a lot of my time in the inner world I had created – a world that was untouched by the harshness of reality and was open to limitless possibilities. In retrospect, I can see that the unapologetic comfort of that world was my solace throughout a very painful childhood. My internal struggle spilled over into my evolving years. When everyone was setting up the foundation of their career in the university, I was going to a factory and working 18 hours a day. While I struggled to earn a meager amount, I was confident that hard work would give me financial growth, and that would give me happiness and love.

Rosie Mitchell

Hi! I’m Rosie and I am really excited to be part of The Happy Club! My role within this amazing team is to make the world a loving place to be by managing operations and the overall project. I love nature and our beautiful planet and I think we are so lucky to call this place home. It seems that we don’t always realise how connected we are to our environment, and to each other, and I’m passionate about us rediscovering that connection – this is why I am involved in this fantastic project!

Just before lockdown, I met a beautiful man called Kash Desai. While we were all struggling to come to terms with a very different world, the universe had sent me a gift, which was Kash :-).

Nish Khakhar

Hi! I’m Nish and I am so excited to be part of the Happy Club! My role within this amazing team is to help make the world a loving place to be through the use of technology!

Most people that meet me think I’m a pretty happy go lucky person with a positive, controlled outlook in life. Which I would say is the case to a certain extent – I do try to look for positives in situations but sometimes that was about portraying a controlled image – that everything is ok but deep down I would not always be feeling that way.

I have a fairly large extended family and for me family is one of the most important things to me (as I’m sure it is for most people).

Zoe Alexander

Hello lovely you!! Just wanted to stop by and say hi!
I’m Zoe and am very proud to be part of the The Happy Club connecting people with coaches, helping them to move from the parts of their lives where they feel stuck and unhappy, to a state where they feel they can grow and progress to a happier place.

One of the phrases I often heard as a young adult was ‘why are you always smiling? What do you have to be so happy about?’ To which I’d reply…’Well what do I have to be unhappy about?’. That used to make people stop and
revaluate and more often than not they nodded their heads and raised their eyebrows in admission that perhaps life was not so unhappy when they truly thought about it.

He told me about The Happy Club and the vision to spread love and make the world a more loving place and I immediately knew I had to be part of it. Now, we have a fantastic team and I am so excited that we are creating this loving community – a place where people can express themselves freely. Encouraging people to love themselves and each other, as a few of my friends say “is a no brainer”! :-) As a child and teenager, I had lots of energy and was usually running around wanting to do a million different things at the same time. This continued as I got older, and I found that although I had lots of energy I didn’t really know where to focus it. I was scared of focusing on what I really wanted. I wanted to be an actress but when it came to sitting my A-Levels to get into a drama course at university, I completely sabotaged myself. Subconsciously it seemed better to have not worked and failed than to have tried and failed. At the core of it, I somehow felt that I wasn’t good enough. That was one of the first beliefs about myself that was completely unfounded. It continued at drama school and eventually, this underlying belief continued into work and other parts of my life and had a massive impact on my health and relationships. I couldn’t see how I could move forward and although I was scared to change, I was also scared to stay in the same place. I was lucky to have people around me that loved me and cared for me, but at times I felt very much alone – I felt trapped by who I thought I was and who I thought I should be, and I couldn’t see how I could move forward. In my early 30s, I started a journey which began simply with the knowledge that things had to change. A friend of mine introduced me to Ashtanga yoga which I will always be grateful for. It was a discipline I needed and through it, I started to reconnect with my body and mind. By mind, I mean the stillness I hadn’t really known was there before. A place where I could just be and rediscover my self. I went to India in 2020 to do my first yoga teacher training, and this journey helped me immensely to connect with myself. I have realised the power of self-love and have seen the difference it has started to make in my life. If you had told me 3 months ago I would have fallen in love, be working for myself and involved in an amazing project, I wouldn’t have believed it. When I reflect on where I am now and where I have come from, I feel very proud of what I have achieved. I know now how powerful I am and that I can achieve anything that I put my energy into. I am good enough and I deserve to be happy. I am looking forward to sharing all that I have and spreading love – making this world a loving place to be.

I have a fairly large extended family and for me family is one of the most important things to me (as I’m sure it is for most people).I would find myself putting other people’s happiness before mine or compromising – which would make me feel good for a while because the act of helping others does that; however this was short lived. Something was missing.

So what’s changed? Well, about 9 months ago I met Kash: We happened to work on the same project with our corporate hat on. The professional relationship was great and it evolved into a friendship that I can only describe as unique!

Our conversations over lunch would be so insightful and interesting. He would share his latest podcasts with me to see what I thought. I would listen to them and come back the following day, playing back his content / messages in conversations with him but applying them to my world.

He shared his vision about spreading love and all the great things that can be achieved by this simple message. The greater good that can be achieved by spreading love is immense. This really resonates with me.

I came to realise what I was hearing or conversing about; I had never talked or thought about before – let alone put into action. I realised I was following a subconscious routine in life without really knowing or thinking about what makes ME happy. I realised I can love myself and make ME happy and that in turn would reflect on those loved ones around me. Kash made me aware that loving yourself is the start of the process.

This has made me see life differently in that I know now that by loving myself and taking time to focus on happiness will in turn also mean that when I’m helping others I wont feel any compromise. I can do both.

My passion is to help others see that by loving yourself and making yourself happy will radiate amongst the people around you. For me this is such a simple but powerful realisation and I’m on this journey to spread it as the answer is: you simply need to be aware of it!

Take care
Nish.

That used to make people stop and revaluate and more often than not they nodded their heads and raised their eyebrows in admission that perhaps life was not so unhappy when they truly thought about it. You see when you have love and are love, even when life puts you through your paces….it gets you through. It taught me early on that when you help reframe someones perception, they get to experience the world in a more beneficial way – that excited me!

I’m going to show my age here now, but does anyone remember the original Care Bears? Well, when I was growing up, that’s how I used to feel (and still do) when I felt full of love and so happy – the bear with the sunshine in his tummy, my own little care bear stare. When I felt upset or lonely or felt excluded, as we all do at different times, I would go off into my own little daydream, a world that was happy and magical.

That ultimately attracted some negative attention ‘Zoe doesn’t pay attention, she’s not listening, she’s always off in her own world’ but I just knew I loved to feel happy and full up, rather than not, and this way I could stay connected to that feeling without relying on someone else to make me feel good, who might be dealing with their own issues. By staying true to myself I still have that passionate love of life and that inner ‘Care bear stare!’. It’s what propels me in my work and my life. It is my vision for everyone to feel this way. When I see acts of kindness, support and love around me it has the capacity to move me so much.

I met the lovely Kash a while back at an NLP training course. We connected and continued our friendship past the course, bonded in our shared desire to see more love and happiness in the world and spent many hours discussing this. As a therapeutic lifecoach myself with a passion for helping people to move to a place of self-love and empowerment, I was very excited to join The Happy Club Team and to work on the coaching element as part of this vision. For when you begin to feel whole again by overcoming your personal obstacles and seeing a different way to move forward, you come to a happier, more loving place….and
one by one, that’s what creates the positive change in the world that you want to see!

Don't miss anything!
